Looking back at the best of 2011
1. Reet Gosal, my beautiful daughter. 2011 was the year of the baby for my family. In all, my cousins added 8 new additions to the famlily and 3 friends also welcomed babies into their lives. As much as you lose your sleep and sanity, its so worth it when she wakes up and immediately smiles. Being recognized and unconditionally loved by someone is the best feeling in the world. I could write a book about how much I love her, but at the end of the day, you won’t understand until you have one of your own.
Photo of the Week
Over the weekend I shot with my daughter for our Christmas cards. At the end of the shoot we decided to take some creative baby pics since I had the equipment rented and all the resources there. I shot several of my wife and Reet, and set things up so she could take some of me and Reet later. We tried several concepts and get ups, but ultimately decided on somethng timeless and classic. She was fast asleep and i just flipped her onto my arm and my wife made sure it looked right in the camera. I just love this shot because she looks like such a monkey, the way her arms and legs are dangling is just too cute.
Being a father is amazing, it’s been 5 short weeks but I can’t remember life before her.
