Looking back at the best of 2011
8. Boston was never a city I wanted to visit, it wasn’t even on my radar. When my wife had to go for a work conference, I tagged along for a mini vacation thinking it would be a few days to rest and relax and maybe explore the Harvard campus. Well, I never made it to Harvard. Instead I was swept up in the history, culture and cuisine of this amazing city. I actually cannot say enough about Boston, it’s just amazing. There is so much to see and do (and photograph). We overdosed on delicious fresh seafood every day. I walked the streets daily photographing the unique buildings and culture of the vibrant city. From Fanuiel Market to little Italy to Chinatown to the beautiful and trendy Copley Square, it is the perfect city. We visited the contemporary art and fine art museums (The fine art museum is a MUST!) right across from Fenway Park. I was even able to catch The Chihuly exhibit which was beyond amazing to see up close. I have been raving about this vacation ever since and plan to go back, this time I may even get to visit Harvard…
Yes! My amazing city
